Molly is a lonely, troubled girl. She has a best friend Wynee, works as a waitress and has an abusive, angry boyfriend called Brian. Brian is not only physical abusive but also emotional abusive. He always tells her that she is no good, no one would want her and she is fat. Molly accepts it as she has just given birth to their daughter, Lyric and dues to her past, she believes what he says. This is her life. Until Logan walks into it.

Logan has moved back home to live Lucas, his older brother. He helped bring up Logan when their dad left them and their mum. He is one of Brian's friends and when Brian invites him over, he doesn't expect to be fixated on Molly. To Logan, it is love at first sight but he sees the sadness in her eyes and the way Brian treats her. He wants to be her friend and win her trust. He loves Lyric too.

Lots of situations occur but one thing is for sure, Logan wants to be there for Molly. Their is a definite connection there and it's the first time that Molly feels special and cherished. Molly and Logan confide their pasts to each other and he tries to give Molly the strength and show that she can stick up for herself against Brian.

It's such a wonderful story and i completely loved the characters. Molly did get on my nerves sometimes with the so many doubts she has about being with Logan but it was fantastic to see her gather strength to tell Brian that enough was enough and to leave him. Fantastic story and i really looking forward to reading Follow You Down, book 2 based around Lucas and Dani, a new waitress at Rickey's where Molly works. I love that you get a bit of insight to Dani and Lucas in this book and it's great seeing what the other characters think of them before the next book which will be from Lucas and Dani's POV.

Oh wow I have tears in my eyes right now. This is a soppy romance but it does have love in it and a happy ending but it's the heartache an pain in between that will get to you. Molly is one off those unlucky people who bad things happen to, the only light in her life his her daughter lyric who is a sweet sweet angel. Meet Logan the sexy spunk who when he first meets Molly wants her to be his no matter what but he also has a bad past. Can they work it out an be together or tear each other apart.

This is their story and it's one that will stay in your heart forever. Thank you for writing this and sharing this with us Katie it's so beautiful and can't wait to read dani and Lucas story next.
I have always been drawn to the tortured heroine of a story. Molly was everything I love in a character - strong willed, independent and mouthy. While she was non of these traits around Brian, her reasons for accepting his behavior made sense - she was protecting her daughter and honestly believed it was her only way. Logan enters the picture as a friend of Brian from his childhood and he is immediately drawn to Molly and Lyric. He wants nothing more than to be her knight in shining armor and he wants to save her from everything that is bad in her life. I loved the connection between Molly and Logan. Since their relationship started slow, it was refreshing to see the characters take their time getting to know one another and falling in love as the story played out. At times I wanted to yell at my kindle and Molly but in the end, I was very happy that with all the challenges that they faced together and came out with a happy ending together. I could not ask for a better ending. Also, the side characters where a riot. Wynee, Molly's best friend is everything a girl could ask for. She was the much needed comic relief when the story got heavy and the tissues were needed.
A quick side-note before I start my review… I love a book that references music! and when the book references great 90s music? Oh yeah, sign me up! Pearl Jam, Hootie & the Blowfish, Del Amitri, Train and many more!!… Good Stuff!

Thoughts This is the debut novel for K.B. Webb and her characters and storyline caught my attention from the first chapter. In fact, I have already received book 2 from the author and have loaded it to my and cannot wait to start it!

Reflect Me was a raw, rough and realistic story, sometimes too real, told from his and her points of view. As a reader, I prefer this writing style. I love to have insight into both characters and what they’re thinking. This is a new adult read, which is not my first choice of genre, but to me these characters and their tough life experiences gave them a maturity that drew me in. I simply could NOT put this book down!

We start the story with a beat down version of Molly. She is just trying to survive. She’s still reeling from the loss of her first love. Now saddled with an emotional and physically abusive boyfriend because she thinks that a home with both parents is what she needs to give her daughter. She meets Logan when he returns to Monroe and through his strength and friendship begins to see that she doesn’t have to just survive; she can make better choices and truly live. It was great to see Molly find herself again, to discover her backbone and her strength over and over again through this book. Even at the last few pages she pushed through again and followed her heart to get back what she had mistakenly pushed away… I am a sucker for a Happily Ever After! And if any two characters deserved one, it’s Molly and Logan!!

Logan and the other supporting characters in this story – Wynee, Justin, Lucas, Ryan… they are a self-made family to each other and if Reflect Me is any indication they will also have great stories for us to read. Follow You Down is Lucas and Dani’s story, it’s already released and available. I will be starting that today! And Heartbreak Warfare is Ryan’s story. Expected to be out October 24th – I have marked my calendar!!
